Supplier manufacturing controls include checks carried out at the supplier's factory before the manufactured or manufactured products are delivered. This method is the easiest and most cost-effective control method for customers.
As a result of supplier manufacturing controls, it is determined whether the manufactured or produced product complies with customer expectations and technical requirements.
Supplier manufacturing controls include but are not limited to the following;
- Manufacturing process controls (performing intermediate controls throughout the manufacturing processes),
